What is JAMA?

JAMA stands for Jesus Awakening Movement for America/All Nations. It is a prayer and spiritual awakening movement based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 (and Zechariah 8:20-21) and birthed by the prayers of a handful of Korean-Americans who were burdened for America’s revival. Its mission is to bring Christians together in brokenness and prayer, awakening them to the horror of sin, the holiness of God, the backsliding and comfort-seeking of the Church, the centrality of the Word, the beauty of His grace, and the joy of a Christ-saturated life.

By repenting of our own and our nation’s sins (Nehemiah 1:6), JAMA is a movement praying that God would send His sovereign wind and release His revival and healing throughout this land, so that lives, families, churches, communities, cities, America, and the world can be reclaimed for Christ. We seek to do this primarily in three ways: our big national conference (New Awakening), our intercessory prayer conferences, and our leadership development program (GLDI).

New Awakening conferences are for mobilizing God’s people to humble themselves, pray and seek God’s face in repentance of sin, humbly ask the sovereign Lord to revive His people and bring reconciliation and renewal to this land, and develop these participants as changing agents of Jesus Christ impacting mainstream America and the world for His glory.

JAMA Intercessory Prayer is the foundational element of JAMA. Its intent is to mobilize prayer warriors, challenging the young, old and all who are convicted in churches, businesses and campuses to call out to our Lord for revival in their land. JAMA Intercessory Prayer is for Korean-speaking only. For more information, please click here.

Global Leadership Development Institute (GLDI) is JAMA’s newest ministry. GLDI was created out of the desire to invest into the next generation by raising godly, creative leaders who will meet the unprecedented challenges of this world. To visit GLDI’s Web site, please click here.
