We are glad that you will be joining us this year at JAMA NA2008 conference. We know that God has some great things planned for us, leaving us excited to see you at the New Awakening conference. The following contains information to assist you on your arrival, stay and departure at the conference.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION
AIRPORT - The nearest airport is the Philadelphia International Airport (airport code: PHL). The airport is 15-20 minutes away from Downtown Philadelphia, which is where the Pennsylvania Convention Center / Marriott Philadelphia Downtown / Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown / Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia / Embassy Suites are located. You may also access Philadelphia’s public transportation (SEPTA) from the airport by departing at the Regional Rail (R1 - "gray line") Direction: GLENSIDE STATION (EASTON RD AND GLENSIDE AV) GLENS and arriving Market East station (12th & Filbert). BUS - If arriving in a group bus, the drop off area at the
Pennsylvania Convention Center is located at 12th and Arch
Marriott Philadelphia Downtown is located on 12th Street between Market & Filbert
DRIVING - When arriving near the convention center, there are public parking structures along the perimeter of the convention center. Please refer to this sheet for locations.
SHUTTLE - You can take the Lady Liberty shuttle from PHL to the hotels for $10 (per passenger):

REGISTRATION
Conference registration starts Sunday, June 29, at 3PM. If you are coming with your church, please have your group leader register for the entire group while the group waits at a non-traffic-congesting area.

THINGS TO BRING
Toiletries (toothbrush and paste, soap, shampoo, etc.), summer clothes for outside heat, a jacket or sweater for the inside A/C, backpack, pen, notebook, and don’t forget your Bible!
NEED MONEY?
You will need some extra money during this conference for:
Parking, books, t-shirts, CDs, transportation (i.e. taxis, shuttles, Metro), food & lodging (please make hotel reservations as soon as possible), radios for Korean translations during general sessions for $10 (you can also bring your own FM walkman radio)
REGISTRATION CHECK-IN:
Where: Pennsylvania Convention Center (please look for signs)
When: June 29, 2008 3-8PM and June 30, 2008 7-10AM
You MUST register before entering the general sessions. Conference pass will be checked upon entering the general session halls. Walk-in registrations are available for $250. No discounts available. Please bring completed registration forms (for under 18, also bring the completed medical and liability release form) with you.
YOUTH GROUP LEADERS:
For every 10 students in your youth group, there must be at least one adult chaperoning (i.e. attending the youth track sessions) throughout the conference. Remember to bring all completed medical/liability release forms to registration if you have not faxed/mailed it in yet. We will be checking that you have them. Download medical release form:

If you are a parent or guardian of a JAMA Pre-K kid, please read this letter.
If you are parent or guardian of a JAMA Upper/Lower kid, please read this letter.
DEPARTURE INFORMATION
The conference concludes on July 2 at 10:00PM. Although the standard check-out time at hotels is at noon, the convention center will provide a location for you to place your bags as you stay for the remainder of the conference.
