Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

"Even now," declares the LORD,

"return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning."
Rend your hear t and not your garments.
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. (Joel 2:12-13)

With all that is happening in this nation and around the world, dear friends, the call is very clear: we need, "even now," especially now, to return to God on bended knees. He is our only hope. Our only refuge. Our only answer.

So we ask you to join us and thousands of others from around the country on July 6-9 in Philadelphia, PA for JAMA's New Awakening Conference. We invite you to link hearts and hands with us to pray. To fast and intercede. To turn from our wicked ways and to repent. To seek His face. To earnestly and desperately plead that our sovereign Lord will send revival to America. And to do so with urgency. With concentration. With faith in God who is the same today as He was during the Great Awakenings of this nation's history (Malachi 3:6).

As you can see from the following pages, this conference is like nothing you've ever experienced before. Not only will there be gifted and anointed speakers and artists (with worship led by our old friends, The David Crowder Band), New Awakening is a conference for all ages. It is a gathering for all vocations and callings— whether you're a full-time pastor, a student, a stay-at-home parent, or a business owner. And we all come with a shared purpose: to repent and pray for revival in our hearts and homes, in our schools and workplaces, in our communities and cities, and in America and across the globe.

As I write this to you, I am on the last leg of a six-month U.S. prayer tour, driving across this land that I love, visiting local churches and colleges, meeting many of you along the way. You may be asking yourself, "What is this 71 year-old grandfather doing?!" Well, I admit that the day-to-day grind on my health (having just survived cancer several years ago) is evident, but God has placed upon me this desire to give Him all the remaining years of my life to repent and pray, like Nehemiah, for the spiritual awakening and revival of my country, America. In this way, it would be an honor if you would join us in this endeavor this July in Philadelphia.

For His glory alone,
Dr. John C. Kim
President of JAMA
