Pastoring and leading a local church is an awesome calling. Yet, the challenge of pastoring and leading a congregation can take its toll on our loved ones as well as our spiritual journeys, often leaving us feeling lonely and helpless. This track aims to be a haven for the weary minister, providing an opportunity to network and receive powerful words of encouragement and conviction. Fellow pastors and leaders will share from their hearts stories and challenges they have faced and are facing while ministering to the rapidly growing English-speaking community. During this track, you will learn how to spiritually, emotionally, and physically take care of yourself; understand the importance of fellowship, mentorship, and discipleship; and gain practical tips on how to be better administrators in order to be more effective in ministry. Through this time of support and challenge, we hope to empower our anointed ministers to continue the good work for God’s kingdom.

How to Discern and Cast God’s Vision for Your Church |
Lakeview Church has gone through many changes over the past 15 years. In an effort to better fulfill the vision of “Transformation: Making Disciples of All Nations,” Lakeview has gone from a mono-site, mono-cultural, mono-lingual church to a multi-site, multi- ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-generational church. Today, Lakeview operates as one church with three campuses in the Chicagoland, which respectively reaches out to the multi-ethnic, Asian-American, and Korean-speaking population. Lakeview also planted a daughter church in Nicaragua, which has multiplied itself into two campuses. Pastor Joshua will share how he has discerned and cast God's vision for Lakeview Church as the lead pastor.

The Scripture is pretty clear that all of us need to be training up disciples and teaching them (Matt. 28:18-20). This is especially true for pastors with congregation members as well as with fellow co-laborers in the ministry. But since everyone is so busy with life, this is often neglected. How can we balance Christ’s mandate and the crazy demands of life?! During this session, Rev. Benjamin C. Shin shows how he has mentored many through the years
