One can argue that the college years are the most foundational period in one’s life. A child becomes an adult and is faced with making seemingly life-long choices, including one’s major and career trajectory to one’s faith and values. During this crucial decision-making process, a typical collegian will heed advice from sources that may be at odds with Christ’s value system. As Christians in this fallen world, it is imperative that we think and live under God’s will. During this track, college students will be given the tools to help them make the right decisions in just about any context. We will cover three topics that are related to this theme of “living out”: God’s Will, Assurance of Faith, and Moral Absolutes. These topics, together with Q&A times, will give us a biblical paradigm and worldview that we can live and make decisions by.

The number one question for collegians is, “What is God’s will for my life?” We know that Jesus wants for us a life that is abundant and blessed. However, many have misunderstood those terms to mean riches, abundance and comfort. Pastor Steve will teach what a blessed and abundant life really looks like from the Bible. If you are at a crossroads, you will benefit greatly from this session.

The University setting is supposed to be a place open to dialogue about new and differing thoughts. Unfortunately, when it comes to discussing Christianity, the topic is usually dismissed or confronted with much hostility. Some would suggest that there are no good reasons or objective propositions within Christianity or religion in general. It has thus been reduced to a “leap of faith”. Professor Benjamin Shin will give a defense for the case for Christianity and will provide rational answers to tough questions or objections made by skeptics and atheists.

As Christians we can spend a lot of time talking about purity, but God also calls us to action - to love our neighbor as ourselves. Join us as author, speaker, and campus minister Kathy Khang takes us through Scripture for a deeper understanding of God's call to purity and mission.
